1. How do you attach the ponytail hairpieces to your hair?
 

Our hairpieces are supplied either with a crocodile clip attachment that simply clips over your own hair or with a drawstring fastening as shown in the diagram below:

2. What is Remy hair?
  Remy hair is the highest quality human hair you can find on the market. It is in its natural state, free from chemical processing of any kind. Remy hair is special because each bundle comes directly from a single donors head. This allows each bundle to keep the consistency of texture, colour and length. It is then cleaned and sorted to be packaged. The cuticles of the hair are all intact and facing in the same direction. This prevents tangling, matting and severe shedding.

3. How do I care for Remy hair?
  As this is 100% human Remy hair you would care for this hair as if it were your own.  You are free to wash and condition it as often as you like.  Avoid blow drying the hair but where possible let it drip dry.

4. How long will the hair last?
 

With careful care the hair should last between 2 months and 2 years depending on how often it is worn.

Can I dye or add highlights to the Remy hair?
 

Yes, you can colour or highlight your Remy hair.

Can I use hair straighteners on the synthetic hairpieces?
  No, because the fibres are synthetic and not human hair you cannot use any form of heat such as hairdryers or hair straighteners.

How do I clean my wigs and/or hairpieces?
  Brush the wig thoroughly.  Add wig shampoo to basin and fill with cold water.  Leave the wig to soak for 5 minutes.  Swirl the wig gently in the basin, but do not rub.  Rinse gently in cold water twice.  Apply wig conditioner and leave for a few minutes.  Rinse thoroughly with cold water.  Drain and blot gently with a towel, do not squeeze.  Allow to dry on a wig stand or slender object like a bottle of water.  Do not brush the wig whilst wet.  Do not curling irons or blow dryer, the curls will naturally ‘bounce’ back into shape.

What is the difference between synthetic and human hair?
 

Human Hair has more versatility (can be dyed and curled) and lasts longer, whereas synthetic hair is easier to care for, less expensive and already is pre-styled.

What is a Monofilament Wig?
 

A monofilament is the cap inside the wig that has a special two layer construction for maximum comfort and a more realistic look. The special weaving technique promotes excellent ventilation and it also has the ability to match your own individual scalp colour.

10. I have a small head will your wigs fit me?
  All our wigs have adjustable caps to fit most heads.  Simply adjust the hooks inside the cap to the correct size.
